By car
Our suggestion is you get to San Martino di Castrozza via Trento and Valsugana (110 km). If you’re coming from the north, take the Ora exit on the A22 motorway, drive through Val di Fassa and reach San Martino di Castrozza via Passo Rolle (please note that this mountain pass may be closed in winter). If you’re coming from the east, take the Padova (Padua) or Vicenza exit on the A4 motorway and follow Valsugana.
By train
You can get off in Feltre (Padua-Belluno-Calalzo line), 45 km away from San Martino, then take a Trentino Trasporti bus (tickets can be bought both at the ticket office and on board). Alternatively, get off in Trento (Verona-Brennero line), 110 km away from San Martino, then take the Trento-Borgo Valsugana train and a bus (just one ticket for both). From Ora (Verona-Brennero railway line) a service is available on weekdays to San Martino (trip: 70 km) via Passo Rolle using a Trentino Trasporti bus.
